World Cross Stitch Day August
Date and Time: Aug 14th from 10:30am to 4:00pm
Join fellow stitchers for a day of stitching, fellowship and fun as we celebrate all things cross stitch. Be sure to bring your current stitching projects or ones you hope to complete. Everyone will have a table to share with a plug in for lights as needed.
Bring your own lunch or step out to dine at any of our great local restaurants. This event is being held at the Always Next Door Event Center where you will have access to a full kitchen. This makes for a great day out. There will be door prizes and swag bags!

| Instructor Bio: | Nancy Reed discovered our shop through word of mouth and quickly was addicted to everything stitchy. She officially joined our staff five years ago and has worked in all departments at some point or another. Currently, her primary responsibility is to maintain our inventory, which is not small feat! She is the first person to see every item when it arrives and makes sure all those special orders make it to each customer. You can find her in the corner hiding behind the boxes of newly. Even though she prefers to be in the background, you’ll often see her working on the sales floor, too. She love knitting, crochet, cross stitch, quilting, garment sewing and her newest obsession is wool . . . yep pretty much everything. She plays flute and piccolo, performing with the Lapel Community Band and the Pendleton Orchestra. Gardening and spending time with her many grandchildren (this number keep growing) fill the rest of her time. We enjoy Nancy’s dry wit and her generous nature as a member of our team. You may not always see her in our shop, but her excellent handi work shows in many of our samples and in every item on our sales floor. |
