Julie's Sew Fun Summer Camp
Kid's Sewing Camp: Pillowcases & Cornhole Bags
3 hours/day for 3 days
For Kids 10 years and up, adults do not have to stay but will need to complete a permission slip. Please click the link to download the permission slip. It must be completed and brought to the first day of camp.

Stitch up some summer fun! In this hands-on sewing camp, kids will learn basic sewing machine skills while creating two practical and exciting projects: a custom pillowcase and a set of four cornhole bags. It's the perfect blend of creativity and skill-building.
Camp Includes:
- Guided Instruction in machine sewing basics
- All fabric and supplies (except filler for the cornhole bags)
- Creative freedom to choose fabrics and personalize your projects
- Use of a sewing machine from Always In Stitches
Please be mindful of other children that may have severe airborne allergies to certain foods.
Bonus:
At the end of camp, students will have the option to purchase the sewing machine they've been using - and the class bee will be applied toward their purchase!

| Instructor Bio: | Julie is a teacher by day, and an Always In Stitches employee by night, so you will see her in our shop frequently during the evenings, weekends and school breaks. Julie enjoys crochet and quilting when she is not teaching her littles. Many of her students are special needs and her ability to work with them is a true gift. Her gentle nature also makes her the right person to work with our customers when choosing and combining colors for projects. We lovingly call her our "Fat Quarter Diva" as she enjoys sorting, arranging, and keeping our fat quarters in tip top shape. Her training in color and design helps her make excellent choices for all our customers. Married to Brian, she is a new mom to her 2 kids and is known to her nieces and nephews as Aunt Ju Ju, she has a big heart that makes each of them feel special. Julie is a great asset to our customers and staff. She always has a big smile and willingness to help make each day better for those around her. We feel blessed to have her as part of our team and know our customers enjoy her youthful approach to all things crafty. |
