Longarm Free Motion Quilting Practice with Jessica Madsen
Free motion quilting is a skill that improves with practice. Join Jessica for this guided practice time. Beginners and more advanced students are welcome. Students will share the Always in Stitches HandiQuilter longarm to practice quilting. This is a great place to start if you are considering purchasing or renting the longarm.
Student skill level: Beginners and more advanced students are welcome. We will draw various designs, then stand at the longarm machine and stitch them. Students will need to be able to stand for periods of 15-20 minutes.

| Instructor Bio: | Jessica loves seeing the creativity of the staff and customers. Her love of the beautiful colors and fabrics in the shop makes her a great addition to the staff. You will usually find Jessica working in the yarn and clearance departments or helping customers in the sewing machine department. Jessica admits that learning new things is so fun. She made a gift bag that uses zippers as handles. In her words “I was sure it would be awful – but was tickled that is really worked!” Jessica is a fiber artist, dyeing her own fabric and yarn, and is also an avid gardener. She is always looking for new plants, especially dye plants, to add to her garden. Jessica’s knowledge of color and fiber has made her a great addition to the Always In Stitches family. |
