Janet's Beginning Sock class
Learn the techniques of knitting a sock on two needles of the same size with
16" cable or longer. You will learn to knit a sock using Vintage DK yarn and two
size 3 cable needles, preferably one needle having a different size cable. It also
helps if the cable or needle is a different color.
Supply list:

Skein of Vintage DK yarn of light solid color, two size 3 needle with a 16" or 24"
cable of different colors, if possible. Waste thread for placement of stitches on,
size of your foot (place foot on paper and draw around it), pen, paper for notes.

| Instructor Bio: | Janet has been working with our shop from the very beginning and brings a wealth of knowledge in the fiber arts. She is a knitter, sewist, spinner, weaver and sew much more. A former sheep owner, she creates some lovely projects from fleece and willingly shares her abilities with our customers. Married to Keith for fifty years before his passing, they have two children and two beautiful granddaughters. Janet retired after fifty-four years as para legal with a local attorney’s office, giving her free time to spend with her family and stitch. Ready to help and always filled with great ideas, we love having her as a resource for our staff and customers. |
