Kathy's Mommy/Grandma and Me Drawstring Bag class Oct
Come and learn some basics of sewing in this beginners class. Students will leave with a completed drawstring bag. Students should be 11 years old or older and must be accompanied by an adult. Pre cut fabric will be provided. If you want to pick your own fabric, email Kathy ahead of time so she can give you specifics on what is needed. Kathy@alwaysinstitches1.com
There will be a sewing machine available for students to use during the class. Students will need to purchase the pattern (link provided below). prior to the class.

| Instructor Bio: | When you need a cup of cheer, talk to Kathy. She is one of the most enthusiastic, positive people you will have the pleasure of knowing. When she joined our staff in January of 2017 the whole shop was instantly brighter and blessed by her presence. Her first purchase as a JANOME sewing machine that purchase really jump started her love of sewing. She currently is one of our full-time employees in the machine department and offers thoughtful help for customers purchase, bring their sewing purchases, and questions every day. Her favorite fabric is all the fabric, but she also crochets and dabbles in cross stitch. She will admit since working here she primarily sews. A wife and mother of f our grown kids, she makes several projects with them in mind. When asked what she gets from the needle arts she said, “My mom, who passed when I was in my 20’s, did it all and taught me to sew Barbie clothes by hand, knit, crochet and cross-stitch as a child. I have such good memories!” Kathy does a great job of helping our customers being creating their own memories too. Next time you need a ray of sunshine, stop by machines and let Kathy share a cup of her overflowing cheer. |
