Nancy McGuire's Beginning Knitting and refresher Friday January
Learn to knit! Or refresh your knitting skills!
This class will teach you the basic techniques for knitting. In this beginning knitting class we will be make a washcloth and other small projects with many techniques.
You will learn how to read the label on the yarn, to know the needles size, what gauge is needed for the project. We will also learn how to cast on, learn the knit stitch, how to swatch and learn how to knit tow together and to do yarn all overs.
In these sessions you will learn to knit, increase, decrease, sew in ends, how to choose yarn & needles for projects.
Supplies needed: a ball of peaches and cream and size 8 needles.
