Instructor Bio: When you need a cup of cheer, talk to Kathy. She is one of the most enthusiastic, positive people you will have the pleasure of knowing. When she joined our staff in January of 2017 the whole shop was instantly brighter and blessed by her presence. Her first purchase as a JANOME sewing machine that purchase really jump started her love of sewing again. She currently is one of our full-time employees in the machine department and offers thoughtful help for customers purchase, bring their sewing purchases, and questions every day. Her favorite fabrics are batiks, but she also crochets and dabbles in cross stitch. A wife and mother of f our grown kids, she makes several projects with them in mind. When asked what she gets from the needle arts she said, ?My mom, who passed when I was in my 20?s, did it all and taught me to sew Barbie clothes, knit, crochet and cross-stitch as a child. I have such good memories!? Kathy does a great job of helping our customers being creating their own memories too. Next time you need a ray of sunshine, stop by machines and let Kathy share a cup of her overflowing cheer.
