Gallery: Little Eagle Creek Valley Farm
Little Eagle Creek Valley Farm is situated on 8 beautiful acres in Westfield, Indiana; just northwest of Indianapolis. Along with an assortment of cats, dogs, chickens, and two miniature horses, we own around 40 Shetland sheep that we show and raise. Little Eagle Creek Valley Farm attends shows all over the midwest along with the Hamilton County 4-H Fair and Indiana State fair. Larry and Angie Hopkins established LECVF in 1997 when they bought three bred shetland ewes. Over the following sixteen years the farm has grown to include more sheep and a variety of other animals as well. In 2001, Hoctor Violet (one of our original ewes) gave birth to Little Eagle Milo on our farm. Milo became one of the very first spotted rams to be shown on the Shetland show circuit; winning many awards at shows all around the midwest. Milo- along with a few other rams and ewes- became the original base of our farm, producing the quality Shetlands that we own, show, and raise today.
