Taken from the artwork of Jessica Green, our yarn this year is inspired by Indiana State House. Jessica is an active artist, who teaches classes to children in Indianapolis as well as sharing her art in art festivals. Indiana State House was chosen as a nod to the 200th anniversary of Indiana's statehood.

Our sample is made using the pattern Waiting for Rain by Sylvia McFadden. "Waiting for Rain is a lovely, beautiful garter and lace crescent shawl that uses an unusual short row lace technique. It fits perfectly over your shoulders and drapes in a way which is very pleasing to the eye. It’s worked top down with lacey increases." We combine Statehouse with Huasco 105 by Euro yarns in a lovely blue-gray tone.

Roving Indiana Statehouse Yarn

Our Roving Indiana yarn is dyed by Lindsey and Jordan English out of Tampa, FL. They pride themselves in providing a yarn that is safe for the environment, produced in the USA of American made dyes, and qualifies for the Organic Trade Association's standards for Organic Fiber Processing.

Our next door neighbor, Ginger's Cafe, has a wide variety, cozy atmosphere, and if it is cold or raining, there is an entrance between our shops.
