.   What does ‘bloom’ mean to you?

Congratulations to Mary Strinka, winner of a $10 gift card from our first Art Block challenge. She used a bird in flight to capture what “Wings” means to her. The next challenge, due April 5, is to show us what “Bloom” means to you. Create a block the size of a sheet of paper. Use any media that inspires you like - fabric, paint, felted wool, beads, yarn, thread painting or whatever. All entries will be displayed in the shop with the creator’s name. (Find other entries in "wings" challenge here.) Let's see if we can get 15 entries!

The Hoffman Challenge is a premiere traveling quilt, clothing, and doll collection.
This year, your work could be part of it.
The Hoffman Challenge Indigo fabric (available now at Always In Stitches) must be used in every entry, whether it’s a quilt, doll, clothing or accessories.
Winners receive up to $300 plus merchandise. Every entrant receives a fat quarter, thread and a cloisonné pin designed for the challenge.
Information, rules and application form:
The link is also on our events page and will remain there until the entry deadline. This link takes you to the Hoffman website.
